Confused about 2005/2006 A6 4.2 sport packages
So I'm shopping around for a 2005/2006 A6... I've read the spec sheets from audiworld.com so I'm pretty sure I know what includes what... but still I come across obvious exceptions:
2005 Audi A6 4.2 quattro, $14,996 - Cars.com
(sports seats, standard 4.2 non-sport wheels)
As far as I can tell you can't order an A6 line this... would a dealership sell an oddball like this? (Yes, I realize it'd be easy for the customer to change the wheels, but why downgrade?) I realize sometimes sport seats are their own option but the 2005 A6 4.2 spec sheet says that its not for this year.
OR:
2006 Audi A6 4.2 quattro, $16,900 - Cars.com
(S-line badging, 5 spoke exclusive sports wheels, non-sport seats)
I know BMW has "comfort seat" options on some cars (to get the sports suspension but put back in more normal seating)... but I don't see any such option from Audi to get a sports package but replace the seats with normal non-sport seats... is this just someone playing around with rebadging and new wheels or does Audi allow build to orders outside the scope of these very detailed spec sheets?
Can anyone shed some light on this? I'm trying to figure out the best way to determine if a car has the sports package just from looking at photos online... and it's starting to seem pretty inconclusive.

Ah, it seems that sports seats were ONLY an option on the 2006... they do not come with the S-Line package... so you can get the sports package and suspension but the seats are optional... that answers half my question I think.

Check out the wheel gap. The sports suspension sits lower than non sport.
