Default Control arm kits ,.... AGAIN

I was gonna just by individual parts from the stealership but the prices in Canada hee are astronomical and run roughly twice US prices alone . I know the issue with aftermarket kit is there durability. From what i have read even OE ones will wear out relatively quickly ...

Just saw this kit on line and am posting a link .. any positive or negative comments about febi Bilstein?

I have heard the Meyle ones last about the same ...

I had a Febi kit on my A4 that worked great, never had a problem after 50,000 miles.

Well that is encouraging ... I just changed my front shocks today and managed to do it without messing with that dreaded pinch bolt but thought those control arms could use refreshing.. so may spring for the kit ...

Avoid the cheap, no-name kits. That was my mistake. I need to redo them and will use a Meyle kit.

Good luck,

Bob
