I got a 2000 A6 2.7T. I recently discovered a coolant leak. It turned out to be an auxillary water pump that cools the turbos. It's not as big a job as the main water pump, but they do have to loosen the manifold to get to it. It was about a $900 job at the dealership, with most of that being labor at $95 and hour. I also had a overflow reservior leak and had it replaced as well. Good Luck
