Coolant smeel inside car w/ heat on

I have a 2005 A6. If the heat is on, I get that maple syrup smell inside the car. The dealer checked the coolant system for leaks & found nothing. Any suggestions?

Did the dealer do a pressure test or just a visual?
Do you keep your invoices-> in case of dispute?

The dealer did a pressure test. I did keep the invoice. Is it possible that there really is nothing wrong?? Common sense tells me "no".

From the sound of it, it sounds like a heater core is leaking thus the smell. Srry for the bad news.

i agree with bender, antifreeze smell in the cabin typically indicates a bad/leaking heater core. Check your passenger side front floor board and see if it is wet or damp.
