Had the day off today and was wanting to put the factory grille back on so I was thinking of what I could do...ended up taking all of the grilles off, giving them a fresh new coat of paint & touched up the chrome surround/Audi rings with Mother's Chrome Polish. I've always loved the look of the lower front grilles with the chrome surround that come on the facelift A6's, so today I tried something and succeeded. I must say, it is a rather close replica. Comments?

 

Looks nice. The chrome surround on the foglights - where from? My 2003 no have.

 

The fog surrounds don't come with any Audi, but you can easily find a pair online They're only like $15-20 shipped depending on who you go with.

I painted my grill on black. only audi rings are chrome.

vrso: that's ok, that's why I ask for everyone's opinion - and everyone has one. I don't mind yours, however, but then again your car looks black, so it tends to "go with the flow." To me, that's too plain when my car is ming pearl blue & accented in chrome
