Dash lights came on after amp and sub install
 

HELP! I just installed a pair of 10 inch subs and a 2400 watt amp and every light on my dash came on. My speedometer quit working, and my steering became heavy. Is this too much for the car's electronics? After driving without the stereo on for about a week no lights have come on. What do I need to do? I really don't want to go back to being baseless.
