Different tire width front/rear
I need some advice on tires, for my '95 A6 Avant.
Have stock summer 205/60s on 15” rims all round. I need to get a couple of tires replaced and found a very good deal on ebay for 3 original matching rims plus Continental Winter tires (which would be handy where I am).
Trouble is they’re 185/65-15.
Since there’s only three for sale, can I just put two on the front and keep the 205s on the rear? It’s not a Quattro and it appears the rolling radius is less than 1% different. Would it upset the driving/handling at all?
Did think about finding a 4th to match but round my way in France, they’re hard to find and very expensive in winter format.
Any advice appreciated..

Since it's not a quattro, you can put different sized tires front to rear but you may get an ABS error as the ECU sees different speeds on the front and the rear wheels. The width isn't critical, it's the diameter. The difference in the two sizes you quoted is only .2" so you shouldn't have any problems.
