Do I need to worry about keeping my 2012 Audi A6 with 65000 miles
Hi.. I'm an owner of 2012 Audi A6 which has around 65000 miles on it and my extended warranty is going to expire by end of this year. So, I'm looking for an options like whether to sell the car before I get hit with the huge repair bill or buy an extended warranty (If possible ) again.
Please advice.
Btw.. so far my car didn't go through any major repairs since I bought the brand new car back in 2012 as I'm maintaining it well. Also, usually, how long the Audi cars last in terms of mileage like we know mostly Honda's last upto 250k miles ?
Thanks!
Please advice.

I have almost 160,000 on my 2009 A6 Avant. Only issue was a radiator failure at about 95,000 miles (I probably got caught by the since-recalled thermostat issue) which caused no damage as I got the car shut down before it overheated. It was a $1600 repair, car has otherwise been totally reliable. I did have the ATF fluid changed at 110,000 miles based on some research here, and plan to change te supercharger fluid if/when we have to have it open for decarbonizing- but again, no problems at all in terms of that (I make it a point run the RPMS very high every few weeks- a puff of blue smoke and she purrs like a kitten!)
The 3.0 supercharged motor is a very solid, reliable, and debugged design, which was then "beefed up" to handle the extra power. If you like the car and do the proper maintenance, it should last you that 250K. When I think of the monthly payment on a new one, the service costs seem minimal indeed...
