Does anyone know if the door blades of a c5 (S6) will fit on a c6 (A6 s line)?

 

Define: "door blades"

This is a c5 shape S6 door blades being installed on a c5 shape A6.
I was wondering if I could do the same on a C6 shape A6

 

Oh...us parts guys refer to those as 'lower door mouldings'...but "door blades" it is!

I honestly don't see how they could be retrofitted without extensive amounts of filler and be made to look decent...the lower portions of the C6 doors have a curvy upwards sweep and the C5 door blades are almost completely strait. Have you seen this done before?

No never seen an example, guess I should just put in a C6 (S6) 'lower door mouldings' on. Those should fit without much problem, right?

 

Yup...the door shells are the same between the C6 standard and "S" models, so the lower mouldings should bolt right up.

Here are the part#s for the C6 S6/S line "door blades":

4F0853959LGRU - left front
4F0853960LGRU - right front
4F0853969MGRU - left rear
4F0853970MGRU - right rear
