My key fob doesn't work which is another matter but the lock/unlock buttons on the drivers door will only work on the drivers side and trunk. Both passenger doors make no sound at all. There is no audible clicking or anything that would indicate they are even trying to lock or unlock. Where should I start in finding out why? There are no lock or unlock controls on the passenger side so I can't try that and the key fob does not work on anything so I cannot try that. I don't want to begin "tearing" into the dash looking for wire shorts and stuff...

 

If you have a vag/vcds, I just programmed my key using the link below. I just bought the car and the only remote key I got wasn't working. I replaced the batteries first, because they were dead and then followed these instructions and the remote works now. I didn't need 2 keys.
