Hello !

I am a proud owner of a A6 Avant 2,4 yearmodel 2001.

Had it for a year now and uptil now small worries , (that was the rear wiper flush that leaked into the boot lid.)

But last week the Driver door wont unlock with the remote.?

So i tried with the key to unlock but nothing happens.

So now i have to open with remote and crawl over from the passenger side , its great every time , and doesn´t look weird at all.(many looks)

If i had managed to get the door open some how i could remove the interior to have a look at the mechanics around the locking mechanism but this is impossible.

When i press the remote to unlock i can see that the pin in the door is trying to get up. And when i try with the key it feels like it snaps over something and then nothing.

Is it someone ho had similar experience and have figured it out how to get the door open please tell me.

I normally try to fix my own cars when i can and leave the bigger
problems to the workshop.
