EPC warning light.

EPC warning light.
Having a quick read through the owners manual, i read that the EPC warning light should come on and turn off after 3 seconds or so when the ignition is turned on.
The light on my car does NOT go out until i actually start the car... does this mean i have a problem that needs urgent attention?
The car does tend to hunt for revs at idle when the air conditioning or like is on, and i have had the symptoms of "stalling" that i've read in other posts. the Air Mass and Coolant temp sensors have both been changed, though the coolant mix may be slightly diluted as i lost some when changing the sensor and topped up with plain water...
Any ideas and advice much appreciated.

RE: EPC warning light.
Thanks. i got paranoid from reading the manual which explained the light should go out after 3-5 seconds from ignition.
mine stays on til you turn over, thats why i asked.
Dealer confirmed its ok, and also the coolant should be ok too.
