esp, abs, and parking brake malfunction
 

So, I'm not only new to this forum, but also to the Audi owner club. Just purchased a 2006 a6 3.2 quattro with 114000 miles. The salesman informed me about the parking brake malfunction light, but I didn't see it or hear it until the 2nd day of ownership. It came on after about 15 minutes of driving followed by 3 beeps every 5 minutes or so. the next day, the esp and abs lights joined the party. They do not always come on. could be all 3, could be esp and abs, or could be PB malfunction solo. When I turn the car off and then back on the lights are not on. After reading a bunch of forum posts, it seems that the esp and abs lights MIGHT be fixed by an inexpensive brake switch, but I'm not seeing too much on the PB malfunction fix. Could the brake switch fix that also? And when the esp and abs lights come on does this mean that I'm driving without brake lights?

I am having a similar problem. I get the electomechanical parking brake warning with the ABS light and the vehicle disables the traction control as well. I have no clue what is going on. Any fix for you?
