Curious if any one else has run into a problem with the exhaust pipes breaking at the weld where they cut in around the middle of the car. I had one go last year and the other about two weeks ago. A local muffler shop replaced the pipes each time, but it was aggravating. Especially when the swinging pipe broke one of the rear valence mounts. And a little more so since one now extends about 1/2" farther out than the other.

I have a 2003 A6 2.7T MT6 with 80K miles. I've had it for 18 months, driven 42K miles, gently.
