Default A few questions about my first Audi

Two weeks ago I got my first Audi. 2000 a6 2.8 Quattro automatic. It is in good condition, a few little scratches but everything else is good with the exception of the headlight washers, window lock button, and a cup holder in the back. When I first learned about the headlight washers I had to go try them. I turned the headlights on and pulled the switch, my friend said the washers popped up but didn't spray. Tried again....same result. After the second attempt they no longer popped up. My windshield washers will spray just fine, in fact the spray so hard they can blast a car three cars behind me. After I tried the headlight washers there was a steady drip of what I would guess to be washer fluid going down my front left fender (didn't check the right side) which lead to a little stream of it going down my driveway. Afterwards, my car alerted me I was low on washer fluid after I had filled it up the day i got the car. My thinking is that there is a leak or break in the line to the headlight washers which causes them not to pop up and makes the windshield washers have more pressure?

My window lock button will not stay down to unlock the windows when I press it, however it works when I hold it down. What do I need to get to fix this?

Thanks for your help!!!

First off, Find the Leak!

I suggest if you have any problem's with the windshield pump's is to take off the front left tire and wheel well. (For easier access)

The pump's for the Headlight washer's and Windshield washer's are located on the fluid reserve on the side facing the engine.

Get a friend to turn on the pump, "Refer to manual on how to use each pump" and tell witch one is the Windshield pump and Headlight pump.

If the leak is coming from the pump it's self. 1 make sure the pump is all the way pushed into the reserve "Press down". 2 make sure the hoses are tight.

If the leak is a hose, replace hose.

If I did not cover what is wrong post about it and I will try to help.
