Finally a picture of the 2000 A6 2.7T
Picked her up from Ramsey Corp in Bloomingdale, NJ three weeks ago.
Nav, Sport & convenience pkg, Xenons, rear parking assist, Buy Other Sound Equipment
Bought the Bentley repair CD, hope it comes in useful someday.
Anyone know a good Audi mechanic in central Jersey?

Congrats! Looks like a nice ride. Two questions for you...
- How does the OEM rack attach? (details please on exact method of fitment)
- 6 speed or tip?
Nice wheels. I use those as my winter wheels and the BBS RKs you see in my pic as summer wheels.

It's a 6 spd.
The factory rack is pretty easy to attach and remove, takes about 10 minutes. Has four locking covers that slide right off. It's pretty much one piece and all you need is the provided hex wrench. Align the rubber pads/clamp with the white triangles on the inside rubber trim. Tighten each side, a few turns on each side to keep the posts seated evenly on each side. The hex wrench has a guide to tighten to the specified tension.
