first snow in clarksville
#2
We had about a thousand feet of snow up here in the past week. This is my first winter with the audi and the all season tires do a good job with the quattro. I cant afford 200$ snow tires this year but i reckon this thing is unstoppable with winter tires on it.
It does some pretty sweet pinwheel donuts i must say. And the 33/67 split gives you tonnes of control in power slides.

well, first day of snow in clarksville tn, and i slide into a guy i work with's truck in the parking lot which had about an inch of snow on it (where it originally occurred, pictures make me look like a liar) tore his truck up. i'll upload pics of the accident later if anyones interested in seeing how the a6 got tore up.
woohoo, broke the mount brackets for the driver side headlight assembly, i see thats about $400. so i see this being expensive, beside the insurance premium.
update - heres the pics. you cant see it from that angle as well, but the truck got pushed in pretty well, especially that cab corner. the audi, aside from the headlight mount, and a slight dent on the quarter panel, is doing alright i guess. im thinking maybe jb weld for that mount, since i dont feel like buying the housing new, and ebay doesnt have the best selection of them at the moment, so idk. kinda upsetting.
the gap between the bumper and quarter panel was prior to this incident, missing a screw on bottom mount.
