On my 1996 Audi A6 Quattro, the air would only come out of the center vents. I pulled the tray that has the motors, but would like to test or rebuild the actuators before buying new ones. The Central Flap Motor looks like it stopped working in mid changeover (linkage is about 20% of its way from one stop to the other). They have the Central Flap Motor at geekparts.com for $170, so I'd rather make sure I really needed one first. Have already been hosed at the dealer, so I don't desire to waste anymore money. Still may be the Footwell/Defroster motor or Climate Control Unit, but I don't think so.
