Default Floor mats

I need help. I've read all the other threads that are on here but none were really helpful. I am looking for all weather floor mats for my 1997 Audi A6 Quattro. I bought it used and there weren't ANY floor mats in it. I'm thinking the guy kept the floor mats. I got the Husky brand but there aren't holes for the clips, I got the Weathertech brand they are too small and again they don't have holes for the clips.

I need the all weather ones because I live in Michigan, which means its wet here 7 out of the 12 months. Should I just go to the dealer? or do I even really need the hooks for the clips?

Please help me find these mats!

genuineaudiparts.com

They are a dealer, but will sell stuff to you at wholesale rate.

Thanks, but they don't go back to 97. Only 98 and newer.

Audi Babe, this may be one of those few opportunities when a dealer can help. I bought my A6 used but it included genuine A6 rubber floormats that have the hole for the floor post. I'm sure they cost two arms and a leg, but I also drive in Michigan winters and they have helped preserve the carpet. Otherwise, google A6+floormats and you'll find other options.

Okay, so I looked at the mats made by Husky again. I thought what the hell, lets just check them again. So, I put them in, had my dad come out and give me a second opinion. They are the trim to fit mats, so we just had to trim them a bit and they fit in. Downside, they don't have the holes for the clips, upside they don't cost an arm and a leg, I think for all 4 mats it cost me about 100 bucks.

Thank you for all the tips. I should post pictures so you guys can see how they look. I'll take a picture when the sun is out
