2006 Audi A6 3.2 /q
hi all, new to audi so some of my questions might be basic to you guys but some good answers sure would help. when i bought the car the dealer told me that audi had free service for warrenty period but when i called audi they said there was no such thing. seen some posts about it on net that say there is free service on this car was audi wrong??? Any one who can help me understand, sure would be alot of help..

 

define free service .. i kno BMW started a program where if you lease a car for the duration of your lease they would do free oil changes and regular maint. ... but this was more or less a safety ensuring them that when the car was given back it wasnt all screwed up and il-maintained ... if you bought the car private party and not from the dealer i doubt there is any service plan with it ... then again i could be wrong

 

I purchased my 05 4.2 brand new from the dealer and all maintenance and service was included for the first 4 years/50,000 miles. I heard that the free/servicewas no longerincluded with either the 2006 or the 2007 model.

 

Last time I talked to dealer few weeks ago, he told me that regular service/maintenance is included for 4yr 50k miles, regardless of where or who you bought it from. It's a german car and its always like that...I had a mercedes truck before and I bought that from a private seller...service was included for 4yr/50k miles
