A6 Quattro 1999 I've noticed that whenver I fill up after my little gas pump symbol comes on, the car seems fuel starved on immediate startup, won't idle and I have to take off right away and drive for a few minutes or it stalls....could this be because I'm stirring something up in the tank? an air pressure/fuel pressure adjustment? normal process?

 

I wonder if maybe your fuel filter needs replaced. Or perhaps try fuel injector cleaner, then change fuel filter after running out a tank with cleaner. I know many don't believe in using such additives, but if you weren't the original owner of the vehicle, you don't know how the car was treated/cared for.
