fuel pump
#2
#4
Hey all found out that its the same as doing a A4. The fuel pump is in the same place rear seat passenger side. and it comes out in about 15 minuets. All I used was 2 long blade flat head screwdrivers and a hammer to open the seal clamp. and then twisted the pump right out. new one dropped right in. BTW fuel pumps are cheaper if found on ebay or amazon rather than autozone pepboys and napa. I got mine for 170 including shipping. the part number is AIRTEX E8384M. Airtex is the brand and looks the same as the OEM. but bosch makes one for quite a bit more.
My A6 had 188000 on it and it looked like the original pump, had all the vag markings on it.
