Hey guys, my wife has a 2001 Audi A6 2.8 and her gas pedal does nothing for the first 1/2" or so. Then it kinda jumps when it does catch, so its tough to ease smoothly from a stop. Is there anything I can do to fix/clean this?

Also, a side question, whats a really good oil to use in this 2.8? I've heard a lot of different oils. Last oil change I put in the Mobil 1 0w-40, or whatever the Mobil 1 oil is for Euro cars

Your throttle body might need some cleaning, but I'm not 100% sure. Maybe another experienced member can chime in on this. I've actually never had to do any throttle body work *knock on wood*

As for oil, I've only ever used Mobile-1 0w-40 as that's the weight Audi recommends us to run in our cars.
