Default Getting my tranny flused at VW, sound safe.

I was at VW today getting my switchblade key cut adn I asked about a tranny service.

I was told it is a very good setup. The car goes on the tranny machine and it flushes out the entire tranny, it pumps in new synthetic fluid. Has anyone ever had this done to there car before mine being a 96. I have heard of tranny flush systems being to hard on the tranny and actually damageing sensors and costing lots of money. Am I just worrying to much or is there system a gentle good way that won't do any harm. It costs $200 by the way.

Sounds more like a drain/refill service. Isn't a flush where they constantly run new fluid through it while draining at the same time?

I agree, your tranvestite should be gentle when they are draining your fluid.
