Exclamation Has anybody bought parts from blauparts.com?

Hey guys!

I'm still haven't changed my brakes on my A6. Got sick of all the shops and dealers. I'm just gonna buy a kit and have a service install them.

Have you ever bought parts from www.blauparts.com ? Just want to make sure they're not made in China.

Thanks for your help.

blauparts has a fairly solid reputation. they are a popular choice for timing belt kits.

there should be a list of other OEM distributors on this forum somewhere, if you want to shop around. e.g.

http://www.worldimpex.com/

Zimmerman makes good rotors

Very happy with their timing belt kit. If you have doubts about brake kits, call them and ask for source. Unfortunately, most commodity parts are made overseas these days. They don't have to worry about environmental or safety issues and can pay $5/day.

Bought shocks, trunk struts, and misc from them in the past. Always nice to deal with.

Blau has also a service center, so they also have experience installing the parts they sell. If you have torn control arm boots, they have boot kits.
