Default headlight wiring problem - please help

I need to purchase the exposed wiring that runs from the wiring harness to the main lowbeam light bulb for the driver's side headlight. The wiring and clip which the bulb plugs into has melted on my Audi a6 year 2000. could you please direct me to a website where I can buy the wiring + casing.

thanks!

This same thing happened to me. I replaced the bulb thinking it had burned out, but it was actually the wiring. My friend re-wired the high beam wire to the low beam and that temporarily fixed it, although from inside the car, it seems like my brights are always on because of the indicator.

Also try Force Five in Concord NH for a used harness.
