Headlights - High Beams

Headlights - High Beams
I have an 01 2.7t with the xenons and I was wondering if anyone has replaced their high beams? What brand/type did you use? My lows are fine and bright, but the highs are dull and a little too yellow for my taste. Also, my fog lights are pretty dull and I like them yellow, so what are some good bulbs for the fogs? Thanks for any help in advance.

PIAA GTX Plasma for the fogs...Your xenons are pushing 4300K at around 2800lumens. The PIAA run around 4100k and will match nicely. Look to spend around 65-100 bucks depending on where you get them. The highs, same brand PIAA. I've owned them in several cars for may years ann they just wont burn out or break. Best on the market next to HELLA and CBIE which most of the model of bulbs are illegal in the states. Do a search on this and you will find a lot of reading. The higher you go in Kelvin the lower your actual light output is (lumens). Don't sacrifice light output for color.

forgot to mention...PIAA makes a Yellow ION bulb that you will like for the fogs. Check out their site.

And when you put in the new PIAAs, keep the old bulbs for a spare. Be sure not to touch themwith your (ungloved) fingers. Put a bulb in your tool kit for that rainy night when one of the PIAAs blows out and you're a ways from home.
