I recently got 98 a6 2.8Q
I'm having issues with CEL
Codes are cylinder 4,5,6 misfiring.
I put new coil, plugs andplug wires
still same Cels coming on.
Can you guys help

what is the coil amplifiers??
here is the codes
P0300 random multiple cylinder misfire
P0304 cylinder 4 misfire
P0306 cylinder 6 misfire
p0305 cylinder 5 misfire

any suggestions??

Does vaccum leak throws misfire codes??

 

The coil amplifire is built into the coil, try swapping the coil to the other bank and see if the same codes come up. If it doesn't, you might have a wiring issue to the coil and need a professional to check the wiring/ECM.

 

I changed all the vacuum hoses today
And swapped the injectors
but the misfiring is in same cylinders

Have you tried to swap the ignition modules? These are located on the air-box on my 2.7, not exactly sure if they are in the same place on the 2.8. There should be two and if you swap the wiring around the codes should go to the other bank. 123
