hi. i have just bought a 2005 model a6.
couple of things am unsure about
number 1: on the centre console it has CD/TV button. when i press it it gives me no option for tv , only cd.. i dont understand anythink about this car. do i have to buy leads and an airiel or somethink.. anyone can help please explain as in depth as i aint got a clue atall. ie dont even no were you would plug it into

I assume you are in the U.S. correct? If so, North American Audi's do not have the TV feature (not allowed by law). The TV tuner module, antenea, etc are not present in the car. It would play on the MMI screen if equipped though. They use the same MMI in North American and European spec cars, which is why there is a TV button.

Ah, I see. Well then, nevermind! I assume TV in the front seat of a car is OK in all of Europe(?). Suppose the easiest way to tell if it even has the ability for TV is to get a full vehicle scan done. It will show if the TV module is installed or not. If it is, it may need to be coded to operate. Just a guess on that, as we don't have the feature available here in the U.S. as i mentioned.
