Default Help, car having same problems

Well to start i had codes for the car for the check engine but i forgot to get the copy
I had a missfire on cylender 2, check bank 1 and 2 and the o2 censor

well its basically the same things, I installed a antifreeze box since my old one was broken, and It had a missfire on cylender 2 and what i did was installed all new sparkplugs
the car the carwas running fine for about 2 weeks, yet i didnt install a new o2 censor (which is the one before the catalyctic converter)

now the car is doing the same.... it bucle at times when its idle and when i set my foot a little on the gas peddle to go fast..... the check engine lights on and off, now something new happens when i step on the gas this bang comes from the bottom right side when im from about 10 to 30 mph
its like little esplosions as my girlfriends say lol and they are pretty loud

some girl that worked at autozone said that since its the o2 censor and the bank 1 and 2, the catalyctic converter might be broken

now can someone help me here, should i install theignitions started wires for the cylender but what about the bang?

the loud explosion is definitly the cat getting clogged up. next time you run the car, look under car and see if you can feel the heat from the cats. If they are clogged, and you have been running the car for awhile, they might even be glowing red :S

I would just cut them out if they are bad. not sure about your other problems tho

thanks for the quick response
well first of all how do u cut the converter??????
can i unclogg it or do i have to reinstall the converter....... which i found two... intall both or just one side??
cuz i do know that afer certain milage the dealer puts in a new converter, but thats only if u have th warranty

as for the other stuff...... the cylinder im ganna buy the ignition wires, even thought they seem fine, but hopefully the 02 censor is the thing that is causing the problems

no picture ... but the cat looks likea bigger part of your exhaust like a bubble its up near the front of the car ... cut both sides and i think its 2.5' pipe im not sure tho... so measure the pipe and get a piece and cut it to size and then welding would be the best way to be honest i think the only way

guy on here named joeski has all this custom exhaust **** ... u might PM him and ask

if its not the problem then you just added a lil more flow to your system

I doubt any legit muffler shop will cut your cats out for you but let us know what happens

lol i took it to one and said they didnt want to do it

took it to another muffler shop, and the guy checked and just banged the converters and said they were not cloged, i beleive him cuz im sure he knows what hes talking about

he told me to check the o2 censor first and the cylender 2 cuz most of the times, thats the thing that couses the car to be like that
