First yes i have searched. I am super stuck and hopefully someone can some wisdom for me. I had a flex joint fail so bad there was no place to reweld a new one so i purchased the replacement cat section. when searching for write ups online most people can just slide the new pipe back in but my c5 a6 2.8 auto quattro has the double cat pipe. it has a cat right after the flange and then the main one. the problem is trying to get that first cat to fit in above the sub frame. it doesn't look like there is anything i can remove to get the pipe to fit. and the new pipe is the same as the old pipe i took out, the old pipe came out easy since it was two sections instead of one complete section
