Help!!! stranded in ST. Thomas Repost
Hey all just took out my old fuel pump on my 2000 A6 2.7t and tested it graoned and and then worked after i banged it. So the fuel pump was the culprit of my non-starting issues. Anyway in attempting to install the new fuel pump I was moving the hoses around and a in that passes through the fuel accumulator((the plastic thing the fuel pump and its housing sit in.(looks like its attached in the tank) ) those plastic hoses were extremely brittle and the one that goes through a hole on the left of its housing tore yes literraly popped off on the underside. My question is how do I get remove the accumulator to replace the hose or fix this problem and where would I be able to purchase the hoses and is there anything else I should consider.
