wouldnt recomend using that you need to find an exact replacement. I would try Shokan or I have also bought two using www.car-part.com fill out a form on that site and list the part number you are looking for and you will get emailed from auto parts yards that have them with pricing.

It's simple -- You need a TCM -- Try getting one from Force Five in Concord NH..

On the other hand you could call the mouse at Disney!

I think I am going to dump that data in the eeprom or maybe remove it solder reflow it to another one..

I think all the boards are identical within a Date range , only difference is the eeprom data..

Why would you do something like that?? Here is a used tcm exact to your part number listed on ebay for $139.00 - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Audi-...Q5fAccessories

Have you even searched any of the leads given to you here?? any one of them would have found you this part it took me all of 10 seconds to find this listing on ebay for an exact match. now your going to still have to buy a used tcm to try and transfer your chip into so what are you accomplishing besides making more work for your self and not having a clue whether it is going to work or not?????

Sometimes I really wonder why so many on here try so hard to help someone when they refuse to do a couple minutes worth of searching to find what they need even though they have had all the info plopped into their lap???

I am done with my rant have fun with the chip swap!
