Help with Torque Converter location
Hi guys, i am owning a C4 A6 model since i dont have any other platform i hence post my questions here.
Any of your guys could help me? I am trying to locate the Torque Converter of my C4 A6 2.6E (1995).
Reason being is that I am trying to release the gearbox fluid from the torque converter since I heard that you would have to release that oil too when changing the ATF oil. I attach herewith the pics of my gearbox from bottom.
Could you guys help me?? Greatly appreciate this guys...
Thanks
Aron

Yeah, you have to drop the transmission to get to the torque convertor. I had mine done a few years back and it was about a $2500 job at the dealership. They charged $1000 for the convertor, $400 or so for all the fluids, filter and gaskets and about $1100 in labor.
