When I did my timing service I did the "take the whole front of the car off" and I have yet to find the drain referenced in the Bentley....

or any other drain for that matter. ended up just pulling the lower hose. (that sounds dirty)

just sayin' ;)

Ah ha! only the cool people know about the drain plug. :p Located on the front lower side of the radiator on the driver side...

Ha. Well I owned a 1997 mercury cougar xr7 supercharged years ago...it was the biggest time/money pit I've ever been a part of...and thats saying something.

The Mercury Sable with the 24V V6 came with 48K about a year ago for about $2K. I put tires on it -the old ones were cracked - did an oil change, and a rear muffler. It now has 71K and going strong. Your problem was the supercharger LOL

Your in for a fun time with the Audi if you thought the Mercury was a money pit. Good luck!

To be fair, I've had a couple Audis that were very finnicky. My 2000 A6 has been old reliable somehow..

Superchargers lend themselves to problems for sure. A similar supercharged 3800 was in a Ford Supercoupe I had. It was constantly leaking oil and having other problems.

My 1989 Audi 200 QT went 350K miles without a turbo issue but there were a few other problems LOL!
