Default How do you change the language on a6 computer

Just recently bought an A6 3.0 Quattro 2003 model but its from Japan (common here in NZ) and i wanted to know if you could change from japanese to english. It has a tv, gps and all the usual extras. Can anyone help

sounds like something you need the vag com computer to change.

Yep as far as i know only a scan tool can change the language.

does anyone know how to do this? I've searcht he forum and came up empty handed....

i got a vagcom... and i got no idea what to do w/ it...

If you go into module 17 which is for the instrument cluster, one of the adaption valves(number 10) is for cluster language. Try changing them until you find the right adaption channel. Just make sure you dont change any of the other ones.
