I just found a leak

I am the new owner of a 2000 A6 2.7T , 6 speed with 48,000 miles on the clock.

It appears that i need to replace the camhsaft and crank seals due to leaks.

Does it make sense to replace the timing belt while I am there?

Additionally, what other maintenance items should I take care of, i.e. water pump, tensioner, serpentine etc?

I know it may be early due to mileage but does it make sense to leverage the labor cost at this time?

Thanks in advance

Al

Yeah you might as well replace the timing belt and all the extras as you said.

Thanks all

The guy I bought from had already replaced the snub mount.

I just picked it up today so I will give it a good washing and post some pics
