Default I need suggestions! new tires/rims!

Hey everyone. its been a long time since i've last been on here.

Well heres the story i had one of my tires go flat on me a few days ago and i need a new one but my other tires are getting bald so i went looking for new tires. Id get all 4 new for about $445.00 plus alignment, but the other day i came across an offer online for new tires and rims. The rims are what ive wanted and summers right around the corner, i think they wont fit on my A6 though. = ( Its a 2001 2.7t soo i need your suggestions on this offer. thanks everyone!!

Audi 19" x 8" 5x112 ET35 Hartman B7 RS4 Rep Wheels - $800

Wheels in nearly perfect condition. 2 have no noticeable defects, and 2 have very minor curb rash at the very edges.

Come with Yokohama Advan Sport 245/35 ZR19 Tires. Originally came from a B6 S4 Avant, and I had them on my D2 S8. Tires have about 50% tread left, with even wear. 2 of the tires have some inner sidewall damage and should probably not be used, but the other two are just fine. "

If it was me in that situation, I would just get the NEW tires + alignment and save the difference for future mechanical failures.

Buying wheels that are not perfect and not new, and tires that are not only with just 50% thread left, but two of them with wall damage is really beyond my comprehension.
However, it is your money and you spend'em the way you see fit.

I hope you don't take this comment the wrong way. You asked for suggestions, and I gave mine.

Agree. I'd tell him to keep the tires, ship the rims, and drop the price accordingly. I heard that Hartman makes nice rims and the RS4 replicas look great (see signature). I ran Coopers on the 19" at first and had nothing but trouble. Went back to Discount Tire and they recommended Cont's (which they should have done the first time, the boneheads), and they have been good. I just don't have a lot of miles on them since I mostly drive the A6 in the winter (with Pirellis) and garage it for the summer.

they can depending on your suspension setup. if you are not lowered should be fine
I had some 245's thast rubbed, other that didn't. Tires are shaped different from one model to the other [My F1 As are very squarish where my Khumo SPTs were rounder]and and that plays a role too in rubbing if your car is low or/and wheels are out to the edge.
