Been there, done that, too!

Bob, I will use the courts. He has a job so his wages will be garnished. If he leaves his job a lien will be placed on his car. The courts are there for me.

He has bad judgment and/or bad advice, so I am hoping he will be swayed by members of this forum to do the right thing. Nobody likes a thief so hopefully this will disgrace him enough to do the right thing.

I think you may have some recourse through Paypal because you used your checking account. I believe Paypal protects you if you use your checking account, as opposed to a credit card. He told me he didn't have Paypal, which should have been my first red flag! Who doesn't have Paypal these days?

He is the same guy: Jamie Schneider from Fond du Lac, right? aka audiboia6 aka afstud6900 aka audimotormouth

yes. i have all the emails, all the text messages, i can print out phone records, and the payment clearly went through. at 1st when i originally paid, it was supposed to take 3-5 days to clear because i used an echeck. so i told him im an honest guy, the money is already withdrawn from my account, it just needs to clear on paypal. can you send it new years eve, i made payment the 30th. so he said yes. i asked him new years eve after telling him amicably 'happy new years' and he said he was sick and didnt send it. fine. so i text him the day after, did you send it? no response. next day after, the same thing. so the day after, he tells me he wants to wait until the payment clears. so i said listen, if you wanted to do that from the beginning it would have been fine, but dont tell me youre gonna send something on a specific day and then change ur mind, its not right. so then the payment finally clears on the 5th. he texts me that night saying did you take back the money? i told him no, theres no way i can take back the money. only way i can get money back is by him sending it. so he says hm thats weird, cause i accepted payment and then it disappeared and my recent activity disappeared. so i told him listen, that youre gonna have to resolve yourself, i fulfilled my end of the agreement, you got your money, i want whats mine. so several emails go unanswered for a few days, and that friday i finally get a response, because i already started to catch onto his scam. i emailed him on a different email address that i found by googling his phone number and having craigslist listing come up for the same item that he created 2 days after i paid him! original email was audiboi6900@gmail.com. the one i found was popjamierock@hotmail.com. so he says it shipped out friday, january 9th. when i ask him if he shipped express mail, he said yes. to this day i have nothing. i called him thursday night, telling him that if i didnt receive it by friday at the end of the business day or if i didnt hear from him, i was going to contact paypal. he didnt respond. so the next day i call again, he answers the fone and immediately hangs up! and he does this everytime i call now. oh and btw. he cost me $102 in overdraft fees. we agreed upon $250 for the stereo. so he tells me to send payment to Adam Bins (audiboi6900@gmail.com). so i send immediately, 15 minutes later he refuses it and tells me some bull that he doesnt have an account hooked up to that paypal account. so then he tells me to send him a money order. i tell him the only way ill do that is if he makes an ebay listing. he says he cant make the option to 'buy it now' which is bull because even a retard can list something on ebay. so he tells me to send it to his friends paypal account, jhohens@hotmail.com. so i send it because the description is for the item. now i didnt know that the money that was cancelled would go back into paypal, and not my account, so i got charged with 3 overdraft fees because the online banking did not update over the weekend. im so pissed right now and along with other **** going on, this really tops it. what do you guys suggest i do?

Paypal dispute resolution is pure BS. I have been screwed more times by paypal then by any other business. I do use paypal, but only do CC charge backs, never bother with paypal dispute anymore.

hcaudikeed: file a small court case. Trust me it is the best way to recoup all your money. After you get a favorable judgment, you can garnish his wages for life until he pays. You ruin his credit for 7 years.
