Post Inspection problem

Hey guys, went to do my inspection today, didnt pass because when he tried to connect to my OBD it wouldnt connect, it said "linking error" what could be the problem???

im guessing something wrong with thier obd cord or something wrong with your obd port

check wire in the back of the port on your car or an easier solution may be to take it to anyone that has vagcom or another scanner and see if they can connect

Thatll tell you if the problem was at your mechanics shop or with your car

do you have an aftermarket radio/amp?

nothing after market, everything is stock

i had that same problem,turns out only my obd fuse was out,i replaced the fuse and it worked

but obd fuses look alright, is there like another one under neath the dash???
