Trying to repair the wife's A6 (2009, Quattro, Premium Plus, 3.0L Supercharged Motor)... I need the intake runner actuator that goes on the driver's side. One is available for the passenger side (Dorman # 911-924), but I can't find just the actuator for the for the driver's side. Anyone know where I can get one?

Or will the Dorman 911-924 fit on either side?

Any help would be appreciated, trying hard to avoid spending $1500 on a car that's only worth $4000 trade in.

 

Update: Dorman doesn't make the driver side actuator, confirmed directly with Dorman. Found some salvaged intake runners, complete with sensor, actuator, and injectors for $150. All better than what I had. Changed the plugs too, due to oil fouling. Running good at the moment.

BTW... On the driver's side you can swap the runner position sensor plug and the cam position sensor plug. Strikes me as odd, normally you can't plug stuff in to the wrong spot.
