IPOD?
I know some people whole have them, and they sound very nice, no distortion, just extremely clean sound, even at loud volume, just as a CD would be. I am also planning on getting this setup in the future, great product!
Looks great! How does it hook up?
It says not compatible with a cd changer in the trunk. My 2001 has a cd player in the dash and a multi in the trunk...Is that possible for it to work? Doesn't say anything for before 2002 that I saw...
That would be great if this thing would work in my car!!!
Thanks for the help!

The one I had charged my ipod while it was connected. Also the Dension Icelink now the Dice does not allow you to use your cd changer and ipod, you have to choose one or the other. Now I have read of people modding there setup to make both work, and sat radio as well, but since I have neither I read no further.
My Icelink allowed me to fast forward and rewind through songs, change playlists all from the headunit. Now if I used the headunit to control the Ipod, I was limited to using 5 playlists. Buttons 1-5 on the headunit corrisponded to the first 5 playlists on your Ipod. You could also use a manual mode where you controlled everything via the ipod. That allowed access to all your playlists. Your Ipod worked as normal just basically using your car stereo as large amplified speakers.
It is a great setup if you don't mind Ipods or Itunes. The Dension Icelink/dice does not work with Bose head units. Well at least a year or so ago they didn't. But the dealers version must I would assume.
Edit: I just realized you were talking about the dealer interfaces, I assumed you were talking about the Dice Electronics or Dension ipod integration kits. For years thats all there was.

yea, i was gonna say... this isn't ice link. i think that this set up might only work with the newer ipods... maybe they are more compatable - less protected? i dunno.
anyone here actually have the set-up shown here?
