jet chip ecu upgrade?
Hey guys,
Anyone ever heard of Jet chip's ECU upgrade? I saw an ad for their chip on autopartswarehouse for about $300.and I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about them or if they are any good. thanks. |
heard of it.. dont like it.... its more of a generic chip... if you are going ecu upgrade try pes tuning... its gonna run you about 700 and has gains of abt 20hp
|
Uhh, what engines are we talking about here guys? Normally-aspirated engines will only get the +20hp as mentioned, but a turbo will have a lot higher gains than that. And no, i haven't heard of the Jet ECU in my interneting.

ohh shoot my bad i was giving the stats for the upgrade for my car.. the 3.2... didnt even take into consideration other engine types.... totally slipped my mind... thats what i get for posting replies at 1 in the morning lol... thanks for the correction nm

Jet Chips
I have not had very good luck with this manufacturer in the past.
I have used several of their chips on domestic vehicles and noticed no power gains. The only gain was from lightening the customers walet! I would stick to reputable Audi tuners and get what you pay for. It really sucks to buy twice! I also know that they have new engineers as of 2 years ago, however, I still don't have much faith. |
I have a 4.2.

pes tuning has both a supercharger system and a chip for your car... the chip gives 20 hp and 15 tq $695.00..... stage one supercharger gives 85hp and 80 tq $6,495.00 and the stage 1 plus supercharger gives 105hp and 90 tq $8,495.00
pick your poison http://www.pes-tuning.com/ |
Go with MTM very impressive on a 2.7t
|
the engine in question is a 4.2 not a 2.7t... mtm does not carry a tune for the 4.2 yet... if they do its not posted on their website.
