Hello everyone. I just bought my first Audi. 2001 A6 2.7T and thought I'd introduce myself.

Being a Bimmer guy I went to buy a 330 BMW and came home with an Audi. Go figure. So far I love it. Guess I'll be spending time here as well as the Roadfly E30 board now.

good choice buying a real car forget those god awful BMW over priced dated styling POS I want a A6 2.7 for my next car I love those things

Hey Dan, Glad to see you bought an A6. Im a new member on the forums as well. I will be purchasing an A6 in a few months( probably between 00 and 02). Being that your a new owner, and member I thought you'd be the right person to ask if you felt that choosing the A6 was the right decision or what else you might have choosen? If anyone else has information about the A6 that might be helpful to me, such as which year might be better, etc please let me know. Thanks so much

LOVE IT

 

I just bought an A6 on Friday. I too came from the Bimmer World. Had a 2002 540I and a 2003 M5. Decided to buy my wife a nice car (Lexus SC430) so I sold the M5. I found a cherry 2000 A6 6 speed with a few mods. BBS Wheels, Eibach springs, shocks, APR chip. It doesnt have the power of the M5 but it is close to the 540I. Plus I have less than a third of what I had in the M5. Looking for an exhaust with sound and power gains if anyone has any ideas, please post.

will take a pic or too when I get a chance to clean it up.
