Any body know how much a replacement instrument cluster costs for a 2001 A6? I'm in the Virgin Islands and there is no Audi dealer nearby (shocker). Also, any idea as to how difficult it is to replace?

 

my A4'02's display panel (weather, nav, etc) has been going white once in a way lately. just a few times for a little while in the last couple of weeks. doesn't happen too often but when it does, my heart sinks. especially since i'm in the middle of selling it (moving countries) and the car is in awesome condition. dealership says they'll have to check but think 95% chances are i'll have to replace the panel which will cost around 990 bucks plus 180 bucks labor. know any better solutions?
