Go for the OEM one -- from BMW. It's quite a bit nicer than the clones you'll see on eBay. Subtle differences, but definitely nicer.

when they say a m5 or m3 spoiler does that mean a look-a-like? or an actual BMW spoiler?

they mean a look-a-like ) and I would strongly recommend to consider the RS6 replica - to my eye just looks like it belongs there, while the others kind of clash with the shape.
Whatever you get, post pics - would like to see how it comes out

We mean the actual BMW spoiler. It happens to fit the A6 precisely. Do a search on this topic and you'll see a post from Boston Driver that has pics of both the BMW spoiler (on his 01 2.7T) and the OEM RS6 spoiler (on his 02 4.2). Booth look nice and are popular options on the A6. The OEM RS6 spoiler (which I've got and will be installing shortly) is a bolt on unit. As such, the installation is trickier but much tighter. The replicas and all other spoilers (including the OEM BMW ones) are stick ons.
