Default Mechanic Can Not Diagnose!

Jeepers! I have an Audi mechanic who I trust and he has had my car for a week and can not diagnose a very slight hesitation on easy acceleration. Changed the spark plugs. Ran all kinds of diagnostics. No codes. No CEL. He is giving me the car back and wants to wait until it gets worse or changes or throws a code or something. The car runs great otherwise. You can not feel any hesitation at moderate acceleration. Just a slight hesitation in the shifting (manual 6 speed) on the front end of slight acceleration. Sometimes I can feel it de-accelerating. Anyone heard of such a thing? Any other ideas?

Default May be a Good Mechanic

Sometimes you have to drive it until a issue or concern becomes worse. Seems like the tech is doing right by your wallet $$$.... Do you want him to throw parts at it and waste your money???? Or wait until it is more noticeable and fix it correctly?

My wifes 2010 A4 is making a weird intermittent clicking sound when making turns, and I have had it on the lift twice and I still can not find the problem... I have verified the noise, but everything is tight under the vehicle???

It happens.

You are right. He said the exact same thing....though it was a chunk of change to just try changing the spark plugs (which I should have done myself) and an even huge chunk of change to replace the clutch 4 months ago. I just want to sell it so that is my only reason for wanting to find a solution sooner or later...though I can sell "as is." Thanks!

When did you last change the fuel filter? If it is plugged, it could be slowing the flow to the engine under light acceleration. Otherwise it sounds a little like turbo lag.
