Recently bought a 96 A6 Quattro Sedan, and am wondering what kind of gas mileage I can expect from this vehicle (automatic). And........can someone tell me what RPM I should see at 60 mph. Thanks in abvance for your help/advice

 

im in the uk so forgive me if there are any differances.

My 2.8 quattro is a 70 litre car, a full tank will get me 400 miles on combined usage in town and A-roads
The best i have had is 460 miles to the tank non stop motorway miles.

My car is also an automatic, i cant help with the rpm at 60 ive never noticed, but ill pay attention next tim i go out, (its not my every day use car)

Thanks for the reply. If I did the math correctly, that works out to about 21 mpg, which I the same as I am getting on my car.
And I looked at the RMP thing: at 60 mph, I am turning about 2800 rpm---at 65 mph about 3000.
