Mirrors

There has been a post about the programed mirrors but i cant find it. Lets say you drive back your mirrors tilt down. Any help how to do that would be great. I would like to code with vag com and check if it works.

If you put the window adjustment knob to the passenger side of the car, when you put it in reverse is "should" drop. Mine of course has never worked fwiw. Our 3 series does the same thing and to be honest, I hate it. I would rather see what's next/behind the car than the ground. I already know where the curb is, what I don't know is how close I am to another car in the driveway.

I second that. Mine doesn't work either, but I didn't even bother to look into it.
Always had the passenger side mirror low enough to see the ground next/behind the car, since that's the area you want to "scan" when you back up. The feature in discussion is just one extra electronic enhancement to keep you worried if it goes bad...:D.

How many seconds does it take to adjust your mirror in a position where you can see perfectly where you back up, and forget about it?
(On top of everything else, all the "grease" from the fingers can dull the luster on the knobs over time from so many pushes/touches. Then you need to ask Jack about how to paint your interior :D)

You say that there may be problems after coding it?
