After using the search feature I feel like this questions has been covered, but I still have a few questions and want to make sure I have my information straight. I have an Audi 2005 A6 3.2 with Navigation. I would like to install and ipod and be able to control it through the screen. I was told my one audi dealer that there was a cable coming out in a few months that would let me do this. However a second dealer told me that this was not true and even if it was it would not work in cars that have factory navigation. Does anyone know for sure which dealer (if either) is correct. If the second person is correct is there any work around that will let me accomplish installing an Ipod into the factory system. I have seen the gateway 500's but according the the manufacturers website it does not fit my car. Does anyone know if this is true?

It is confusing, Audi USA has a cable on their website but it don't say what years it works on just that you can use it on your MMI. It seems like dealers don't have a lot of knowledge on aftermarket parts.

I'm not sure what is different between 05 and 07 where the cable won't work on the 05's maybe the software is different.

I emailed Denison and haven't heard anything from them on how to get the Gateway 500 so I'm not holding my breath.
